Competition Information

1. Each individual on the team must complete his/her portion of the team entry form and have a parent or guardian sign the waiver. Please indicate both your team name and division on the entry form.

2. Rosters will only be accepted with the minimum number of players (5) listed

3. Mail the completed entry form, waivers and entry fee, payable to:  Iowa Sports Foundation, Net Fest Tournament, 1421 S. Bell Ave #104, Ames, IA 50010

4. Team coaches will receive a confirmation letter with tournament information

5. No refunds will be issued due to cancellation by weather or team withdrawal after schedules have been completed.

6. Employees of Mary Greeley Medical Center will be on-site to attend to any minor injuries.

7. At any time, the number of teams may be adjusted at the discretion of the ISF staff.

8. Whenever possible at least 3 games will be scheduled for each team.

Tournament Information

1. Games will consist of a running clock, except in the last minute of each half.  Clock will not stop in the 2nd half if the point differential is 20 points or more.  Substitutions may be made at any dead ball situation.  Halftime is a maximum of 4 minutes.

2. Players may appear on only one roster.  Players may be required to present proof of identification (driver's permit/birth certificate & photo) at tournament check-in or upon request of a tournament official.  Any team using an ineligible player will be disqualified for the entire tournament.  No refunds will be issued and any games and/or awards won will be forfeited.

3. Teams are required to wear matching colored shirts with numbers on the back.

Eligibility

Current grade for 2011-2012 school year will be used to determine the grade for participation. Athletes should check with their school's athletic director concerning participation. Net Fest cannot be held accountable for determining an athlete's eligibility.
